Completed BathSpace project
What the family asked for
The client wanted a warmer, more practical bathroom for an Airbnb property: a premium guest experience, better separation of the wet and dry areas, and a layout that made sensible use of the existing angled wall.
An existing bathroom in Nawala needed more than new tiles. The client's Airbnb property called for a welcoming, premium and practical guest bathroom, with better separation between the wet and dry areas. The existing angled wall was one of the layout challenges to resolve.
BathSpace by LUXEhome managed the renovation as one connected project: site preparation and demolition, civil corrections, new concealed plumbing and electrical work, wet-area waterproofing, tiling, ceiling and lighting, custom vanity, bathware, shower glass, testing, cleaning and handover. The room was designed for everyday use as well as its final appearance.
The finished specification includes Rocell tiles, Swiss bathware and fittings, Geberit concealed-cistern equipment, a quartz vanity top, eco-board cabinetry and 10 mm shower glass. The design includes a curved, sandblasted glass divider, helping distinguish shower and dry zones.
Quality checks were recorded as the work progressed. The plumbing test passed on 23 August 2026 without issues. The waterproofing system passed a two-day flood test on 27 August 2026. All recorded final handover checks passed, and the bathroom was formally handed over on 29 September 2026.
At handover, the site was cleaned, bathroom fixtures and functions were checked, care and warranty information was provided, and one spare tile was retained for future repairs. The recorded final project value was LKR 1,881,000.

From first message to handover — every stage, as recorded.
The Airbnb owner wanted a warm, premium and practical bathroom with clearer wet/dry zoning. The first design conversations established the goals and investment direction.
The existing angled wall, bathroom layout, concealed services, access and finish decisions were considered together before the renovation work.
Existing fittings and affected finishes were removed, with preparation for the renewed room and coordinated technical systems.
Plumbing and drainage, electrical points and the necessary civil work were coordinated before the wet areas and finish layers were closed.
The water-supply plumbing test passed with no recorded issues.
A two-day flood test passed without reported issues before completion of the bathroom finishes.
Wall and floor tiling, grout, ceiling and lighting were finished around the approved design and technical layout.
Swiss fixtures, the concealed cistern, custom eco-board and quartz vanity, mirror, accessories and glass divider were installed and finished.
Plumbing, drainage, WC, shower, electrical items, lighting, ventilation, glass, surfaces and fittings were inspected, with final cleaning before handover.
Final functional checks were recorded as passed, and the bathroom was handed over with its documentation.
